Sunflowers at Sweetfields Farm

Look, I'm not that boring and letting my work and internship take over my life, I went out on another adventure this past weekend! This time, I went back to Masaryktown, Florida at Sweetfields Farm with my big to visit a sunflower field on its last weekend open and go through the maze and enjoy their vendors and crafts.
This was not the first time I have been to Sweetfields Farm, I went here for my birthday last year with my boyfriend to visit their giant corn maze. This time around they had their spring maze which uses giant long stemmed sunflowers, I must say it was beautiful. The only thing I should add in, is that we went on the last weekend so there was a good amount of the flowers that were already wilting and starting to die but I am sure that at the beginning it was the best time to see everything fully blooming, I hope to come back earlier next year and see them all in full bloom.

In addition to the giant maze, there were many playgrounds and small activities all around the fields for children to play with. There were a handful of different farm animals as well that were able to be fed by the visitors as well as pig races that happen throughout the day. There are different food vendors that ranged from hot dogs and chips, to kettle corn, and what I believe to be the best lemonade I have ever had that is made fresh in front of you when you order. They also have a crafts booth where you could plant sunflowers and paint pots that you could bring home with you and even go on a hayride that takes you all around the farm. There is also a giant barn that they use as their major shop for fresh picked vegetables that they grow on their land as well as sunflowers picked regularly throughout the day from the maze itself. They were beautiful and I really wanted to take some home with me but I had no place to put them. If you all are near the central/southwest region of Florida you should definitely check them out this fall for their giant corn maze or next year for their next sunflower maze. For now enjoy some fisheye fun we had while taking photos, till next time!
