There are those days when you plan things out and they go perfectly and there are those days when nothing goes by plan, aka this past weekend. I meant to do a huge collection video of everything that I have collected in the short period of time that I have been into stationery, I intended to record a video of it all but yesterday I was out all day with my family so I did not have time to record anything. So today's post is being switched to a first impression of the Studio L2E stamps that I just received this past weekend and used for the first time today.
Last week, I put in my order for these stamps and I received them this past Friday. I was so excited to finally purchase these because I have been eyeing the Studio L2E stamps for quite some time and have been wanting to get into stamping in my planner. I ordered the Iconic, Plan It, List It, and Today's Weather stamp sets. (I may have gone a bit crazy when I was looking on the website, there are so many more sets I want to purchase!)
Jo-Ann Fabrics & Crafts: Ink Pads (Similar)
Amazon: Acrylic Blocks
The two sets I really wanted to get were the Iconic and the List It stamps because of the blog and YouTube related stamps and the water bottle that I had been seeing around Instagram. I really wanted the water bottle because I cannot use the hydrate stamp that is included in the Plan It set due to the size of my planner inserts. The water bottle is perfectly sized and will definitely help me keep track and push me to drink more water daily.
Using the stamps for the first time I was a little wary because I have never used stamps that were not rubber and I was not sure how they would come out. You should see my test paper, it was covered in me testing out the stamps before actually putting them in my planner spread. They all came out well actually, except for the water bottle, but after a couple of trials I realized it was because of how I was placing the stamps on the ink pads (which I bought from Jo-Ann Fabrics) and once I figured that out it was smooth sailing from there. I am so very happy with these stamps and I cannot wait to continue using them in my planner. I may have gone stamp happy in this upcoming week's spread. The only sad part was, because of how small the stamps are when you peel them off I have already misplaced one and I'm kicking myself for it still. I hope that eventually I will see it soon in my carpet and all will be well but until then, I am going to put all the used stamps in a container whenever I use them. Till next time.
