I really want to start sharing my adventures with you all, and I really want to think of a witty name for my travel logs but for now this will do.
This past Sunday was my anniversary with my boyfriend, we kept it pretty low key and mainly just enjoyed spending time together (which we haven't really had the chance to have often these past couple months).
Eric is part of a college basketball league created by the Filipino Student Association at our university and this specific day, they had playoffs, which his team won so they're moving on to the semi-finals! Sadly, the basketball game messed with my lunch picnic plans, but that is okay there will be other times for that.
Keeping with the basketball theme for the day, my gift for him were tickets to a NBA game for his favorite team, the Orlando Magic. Unfortunately, the Magic are not on their A game this season but we digress. We were actually late to the game because Eric was on a serious hunt for a set of golf clubs, which he got on sale later that night online. Afterwards, (the Magic lost) we just walked around Downtown Orlando and went to eat dinner at Bento Cafe which serves Pan Asian food. I'm not the biggest fan, even though I did work for that company at one point, but it was one of the first places we ate together and we felt like recreating the night in a way.
It was a sweet night and even though we did not do anything crazy or super adventurous, I was very happy to just be spending the day with him and celebrating our anniversary. Now on to many more! Till next time.

Congratulations on your first anniversary! You guys are the epitome of a happy couple, and it's not quite difficult to pinpoint that fact. Anyway, it's really sweet that you're supportive of his passion for basketball, and the NBA tickets you got him as a gift are just certainly thoughtful. You're definitely on my list of favorite couples now. Thanks for sharing that, Carla! Stay strong! :)
